KABUL - The United States (U.S.) withdrew all international staff of counselors and other advisors who served in the Afghan Interior Ministry said after reports that two senior U.S. officers killed in the ministry's office on Saturday (25/02/2012) yesterday.
Murder of two U.S. military officials were believed to be retaliation for the actions of NATO forces that throw and burn the holy book Koran at Bagram Prison, Afghanistan.
NATO's own party has confirmed the truth of this story.
"Initial reports say a gunman has shot dead two U.S. military officials in Kabul city," said the statement from the NATO told the Daily Mail Sunday (02/26/2012).
However, NATO spokesman Lt. Col. Jimmie Cummings declined to elaborate further information related to the shooting incident.
Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said his group was responsible for the shooting incident.
"The perpetrator is a member of Our shooting, Abdul Rahman. With the help of accomplices inside the office that he finally managed to get into the building. And sure murder was carried out by Rahman Our response to the actions of NATO troops who burned the Koran," says spokesman Taliban talk Zabiullah Mujahid.
But the Taliban claim, the shooting deaths of U.S. military killed four officials.
"After doing the action, Rahman contacted us and said he had shot dead four U.S. military officials," he added.
Commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan John Allen said the withdrawal of a number of U.S. advisers on security grounds, but General Allen insisted NATO remains committed to continuing the partnership with the Government of Afghanistan. Gen. Allen was added, it is investigating the shooting and hunting down the people involved in it.
"The perpetrators of these attacks are cowards," says Gen. Allen.
