Arshavin 'Back "to Russia

LONDON,  Arsenal midfielder Andrei Arshavin, the official was borrowed by the former club, Zenit St Petersburg, Russia after the transfer window ended yesterday, Friday (24/02/2012). Zenit St Petersburg director, Maxim Mitrofanov, revealed he had held talks with "The Gunners" to Sovietsky Sport. Arshavin borrowed until after the Euro 2012 schedule.

"Andrei still want to play in England. (But) because Andrei is very important to play in Euro and are important in the club, he would be a good choice in the current situation," he said as quoted by Soccernet .

Arshavin himself has hinted lending process completely through his Twitter account at 20.00 local time. "It is finished," he wrote. Shortly after writing on Twitter Arshavin, Zenit were written confirmation on the official site.

"Arshavin is back!" so brief written confirmation .

This result is certainly surprising since Arsenal coach, Arsene Wenger, in a previous conference on the same day confirmed that Arshavin will still be playing for the team and he closed the possibility that the 31-year-old player will leave the club despite his appearance itself from public criticism of the Emirates.

"At this time, no. I know this is not allowed, but these things happen. They go through an agency. Like that and I would not change it," he said.

Arshavin himself participated in training at London Colney on Friday and Wenger expects him to have been part of the squad for the derby match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday (2/26/2012).
