Wenger's dilemma Confront Problems Van Persie

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, faced a dilemma about the condition of striker Robin van Persie. On the one hand Wenger wants mengistirahatkannya, but on the other hand he did not stop the sharpness of the Dutch striker.

Van Persie who this season became the captain of the Gunners needed three more goals to get past Alan Shearer that creates a record 36 goals in a year.

However, Wenger worried about Van Persie will be out of gas in the Premier League. Because the former Feyenoord player is never absent even once this season.

"This will be a big sacrifice for him, but I do not know. We will assess the situation in every game," Wenger said as reported by the Mirror Football.

"I do not want to stop it. I am very happy if he is resting, but hopefully he can combine his record and keep fit. You can feel the vibration and you know her history. Then, you just make a decision."

"I did it (to rest Van Persie) in the Champions League because I thought we were pretty safe there. In addition, he was also very tired after the game against Chelsea."

"The important thing for me now is that he stay fit. I know if he is fit, he will score goals. It's that simple," complete Wenger.

For the past record of Shearer, Van Persie has a chance at two games remaining at the end of this year. The Gunners will clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on December 27 and Queens Park Rangers on December 31, 2011. • VIVAnews
