The Iranian judiciary sentenced to eight years of opposition party leader Ebrahim Yazdi. Himself be guilty of threatening Iranian national security.
According to Mohammad Ali Dadkhah, a lawyer from Yazdi, his client was also accused of collaborating with the Party who had served as Foreign Minister of Iran. There was also accused of working with the group Freedom Movement Party of Iran (FMI).

Yazdi previously convicted in a closed court on November 2. In addition to jail sentenced to eight years old, 80-year-old man was also forbidden to engage in community activities for five years.

Yazdi previously released from prison in March, five months after he was arrested in the city of Isfahan along with several other members of the FMI. Previously Yazdi make sure he had retreated from the chairman of the FMI without explaining why.
