The grandfather then took Wati to the house of his parents, Yusnidar and Joseph, in Meulaboh. Meetings between parents and children took place with emotion. After many years they split up, who would have thought the fate of the three re-unite. Yusnidar and Joseph recognize Wati of a mole and a small wound on his elbow.

Previously, Wati was found sitting pensively in a coffee shop. When asked by local residents, he said he had just arrived from Banda Aceh and is trying to return home. But Wati do not know how. All she remembered only the name of Abraham, the grandfather.

Post-tsunami, lost Wati was secluded by a widow in Banda Aceh, and forced to become beggars. Wati admitted, as long as used as beggars in Banda Aceh, he was often tortured by his foster mother. Wati was returned to the condition Ujong Baroh waist sprains and bald hair.

Wati's grandfather, Ibrahim Nur (60 years) stated, Wati suffered torture from his foster mother. She was forced to beg on the streets of Banda Aceh in the protocol. According to Ibrahim, Wati even forced to beg until late at night.

"If you do not get money, beaten," said Ibrahim to VIVAnews, Friday, December 23, 2011. He then recalled, when the tsunami occurred, Wati was 7 years old. He and his brother, Yulisa (then aged 13 years) rescued by their father, and placed on a home store.

"Their father left them to save one of his neighbors who wave swept away. But when their father returned, Wati and Yulisa been lost, "said Ibrahim. The story of Abraham is somewhat different from the version that was published by The Telegraph. But the point is, Wati gone with the tsunami.

Ibrahim went on, just this week he knew Wati was saved from the tsunami waves, and was adrift for days in the city of Meulaboh. In Terminal Meulaboh, said Ibrahim, Wati met a woman who persuaded her to come to Banda Aceh.

Ibrahim said the family was looking for Wati and Yulisa almost to the entire region of West Aceh and Banda Aceh in the emergency response period. Search effort, said Ibrahim, was fruitless so both kaka and sister were believed to be missing.

Meri finally returned home to the bosom of his family, because, according to Ibrahim, a widow who nurtured Wati could no longer care. The widow apparently was lost because Wati often come home without bringing money from begging.

"Wati delivered to the village chief's house, and after being told the identity of parents Wati, I was called to pick him up," explains Ibrahim.

Biological mother Wati, Yusnidar, one hundred percent sure that Wati is his son. His belief was based on a birthmark Wati black spots on the hips, nck, and the mole on his right temple. "Yusnidar his mother, would have his own view. If I still need to find out more, "said Ibrahim.
