The Indonesian women’s badminton team failed to win the gold medal, losing to Thailand 1-3 in the 2011 SEA Games final on Monday.
The defeat was inevitable after Liliyana Natsir/Vita Marissa bowed to Thai duo Savitree Amirapai/Saralee Thoungthongkam 21-19, 16-21, 22-24. 
Indonesia lost two other points from Lindaweni Fanetri and Adriyanti Firdasari. Anneke Feinya/Nitya Krishinda earned the only point for Indonesia.
